Step by step

1. 1PlantingWear gloves — the bulb skins can irritate the skin. Plant in clusters for a compact effect.
2. 2GrowingGive a little extra water in dry spring weather. Great in borders and in pots on the balcony.
3. 3BloomingKnown for their intense, sweet fragrance. Flowers in pink, white, blue, purple or yellow.
4. 4After floweringCut away the faded flower stalks, leave the leaves. After a few years the bloom becomes less full.
